This basket is the perfect size, whether for a mug or pot of tea. I think it will be ideal for a small pitcher of iced tea, too.. I was concerned that the plastic would hold odors from the stronger teas, but that is not an isssue at all. It's easy to clean and easy to use. HotShiz can't be beat for price, the shipping was very fast, and the free samples were a lovely (and delicious) surprise..

Love this steeper! Didn’t know I needed this until I used it. If you prefer loose leaf teas over tea bags I recommend one of these.

Finum's best steeper IMO, I have a normal Basket also, but I love the versatility of this floater. Works in all my cups.
This was very useful, after chopping the glass filter to my Bodum Teapot. It saves the teapot and masks it convenient to be used on other occasions as well.
